In this project, CAD design and CAE analyzes were carried out for the axle unit of the sugar cane transporter. Due to the high sensitivity of this unit, various static and dynamic analyzes as well as fatigue analyzes were carried out for this unit.

As part of the project to set up a production line for sugar cane transportation machines, it was initially decided to buy the axle unit of the machine as a ready-made package from the manufacturers, but due to the short time available to us and also due to the very high price of the manufacturers, I decided to manufacture the axle unit myself like other units within the project.

The axle set was of particular importance due to the high precision of the parts and tolerances. After the initial dimensioning, the main axle shaft underwent heat treatment to achieve the required strength. Each wheel on this sugar cane transporter has its own axle.
