This project was planned on the basis of a customer's request to start a
production line for nostalgic electric cars. First, a prototype of this type of
car was designed and built and initial tests were carried out. Then the
manufactured sample was tested and evaluated. After the successful results of
the tests, this project entered the semi-industrial phase.
Due to its large scope, this project is divided into the following main
sections:
- Chassis
- Suspension and motion control system
- Body
- The electrical part of the vehicle
includes
electric motor, batteries, driver and...
- Cab equipment and accessories
- Automotive electronics section
Each part of this project has many details. In the design phase of the project,
the designs were created in such a way that the various parts could be produced
using the existing production facilities.
In the following pictures you can see photos related to the construction of this
car. The chassis that was built for this project is lightweight, yet strong and
durable enough to withstand static and dynamic loads. In the electric vehicle
industry, the final weight of the vehicle has a major impact on the durability
of the vehicle batteries.
The main scope of the project was to set up a production line for nostalgic 2 and
4-seater electric cars. In order to reduce costs and shorten the construction time,
the prototype's body parts are made of fiberglass composites. This type of composite
part is not only strong and durable, but also lightweight.
The following illustrations show the molds and the fiberglass parts produced using
the composite method.
In the following illustrations you can see the molds that were made for the
production of the fiberglass parts of this car.
In the videos below you can see different views of this car and how
it performs on the road.
